Wednesday Inspirations-Sunray Pattern & Card

Sun Ray Card & Pattern

For today’s Wednesday Inspiration I have a free pattern. Have you seen these sun ray cards all around?  I think they are such fun and so simple to make.  Of course you don’t have to make the sun ray card from yellow card stock. I think it would be fun with just about any color combination. Let you imagination run wild with color!

It’s the perfect time of the year to make a sunray card with my free sunray pattern. This card is easy, eye catching and would work nicely for lots of card making occasions like birthday and get well. Plus would make fun party invitations for young and old. What a deal!
First download the sun ray pattern.

Print out the free sunray pattern on copy paper and trim up to the outer cut lines.

Stack two colors of card stock on top of each other, place pattern on top. Hold all the pieces together firmly and cut with cutter or even by hand with scissors. You will have two sets of sun rays.

Reassemble the pieces and switch every other color to create a sunray design.  Attach pieces in sequence to plain card stock.  Make card as desired.

Materials used are Bazzill Glow & Chiffon card stock. BoBunny Powder Blue Dot and Bring On the Sun stamps by Technique Tuesday stamped in Adirondack denim ink. And of course you know where to find all these supplies?  You got it, our favorite stamping store and Bear Makes 3!

  1. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I just found it and can't wait to try it. But I tried to get the pattern, but the link seems to be broken. Would it be possible for you to correct the link?
