Weekly Class Preview for January 18th - 21st

The following are this weeks classes. There are openings in most and we would love to have you join us.

Little Birdies
Wednesday January 18th 1:00

Many times pretty paper can be the inspiration for a card or in this case four cards. We fell in love with the plump and perky blue birds in this paper by Three Bugs in a Rug.  Each card is for a different occasion but if you want all birthday cards it will be easy to do in class.  It’s that time of year to replenish your card stash and with spring just a few weeks away, these Birdies are perfect.
2 hours @ $20.00

Blue Skies
 January 21st 10-12

Okay, we admit it. These cards don’t have it all. No whiz-bang new technique. No bling or ornamentation.  No ribbons or bows or even pop dots. No, these cards are just the essential essence of a card.  Pretty paper, pleasing colors and sentiments that are the reason you send cards. To touch the heart of someone you care about.  In this class you will make two birthday and two encouragement cards.
2 hours @ $20.00

Clockwork Mosaic
 January 21st 12:45

The Clockwork Mosaic card has eye catching color, texture and that wow factor that catches you eye. After all the bright colors of the holidays you will be ready to sink your teeth into this meaty technique to create a contemporary card with a steampunk  edge. While this is a birthday card it can be easily converted to many other themes. It would look superb as a journal cover too!
1 ¼ hours @ $10.00

Tramp Art Cigar Box #1
January 21 2-5:30

Graphic 45 papers and a cigar box, it’s a perfect marriage of altered arts. In this two part class we will be
altering a cigar box and covering it will Graphic 45 and lots of cool hardware and trinkets. If you have
ever wanted to try a project like this but didn’t know where to start, this would be a great class for you.
We will learn how to prep the cigar box plus the do’s and don’ts in box covering. This is a six hours class
broken into two weeks so it won’t be too overwhelming. So make sure your calendar is cleared for both
class times.

If you wish to join any of this classes please email or call Vicki Byers at the shop.
